IES has successfully addressed a critical issue where existing cables were failing due to heat damage from recent process-related changes. To resolve this, we created a new containment route, installing box trunking from the RIO cabinets to the field locations, ensuring enhanced cable protection and durability.

In addition, new cabling has been supplied and installed for every loop, using the newly implemented containment system. This proactive approach ensures long-term reliability for the system.

With the Christmas period fast approaching, the customer requested that all containment and cabling be positioned to allow for a quick and easy switch-over in case of any failures, minimizing downtime during the holiday season. IES worked diligently under a tight deadline, and we are pleased to report that the job has progressed to this stage, just in time for Christmas.

In the new year, IES will return to methodically switch over all the loop cabling, covering over 140 loops, to ensure a smooth and seamless transition with minimal disruption.

Stay tuned for further updates, and thank you for your continued trust in IES.
