In a recent project for one of our loyal customers, we faced the challenge of replacing their waste feed chute, a task handled by the mechanical OEM. Our expertise in Electrical, Control, and Instrumentation (E,C&I) was crucial as we needed to disconnect and remove all instrumentation, cabling, and containment to make way for the new chute. Time was of the essence, so we mobilized three teams working 12-hour shifts to ensure minimal disruption.
A few weeks later, we returned to reinstate all instrumentation. However, the new waste feed chute wasn’t a direct replacement, requiring us to install new cabling and containment to match the updated design. Despite this additional complexity, we managed to complete the installation ahead of schedule, leaving our customer highly satisfied
